So firstly what are seizures? Seizures or convulsions in your dog, occur when there is a sudden and uncontrolled bursts of electrical activity in the brain. Your dog can suffer from a Generalized Seizure that affects their entire brain, a focal seizures that will affect just one area of the brain or Cluster Seizures: Where multiple seizures occur in a short period or close succession, (usually within a 24 hour period).
